Moussawi: Hizbullah is closer than ever to eradicating Zionist regime
15-5-2009
Hizbullah Head of International Relations Nawwaf Moussawi told al-Manar TV on Friday that his party "is closer than any time before to eradicating the Zionist regime and establishing a Palestinian state."
"The security measures taken are not enough to face the enemy. We should reinstate the culture of hostility toward "Israel"," he said, adding that "we should stop inventing illusionary enemies for Lebanon, because this strengthens "Israel"."
The Hizbullah official also said that the culture of hatred and the attacks against the Resistance encourage people to be become "Israeli" spies.
Moussawi added that President Michel Suleiman is a consensus president. Thus, the official said, the president is not restricted to one party, and he should always seek consensus on all matters.
Moussawi told the TV station that the decision-making power of the majority "is in the hands of external actors, who dictate the majority's every move."
