Hizbullah candidate for the Shia seat in the Tyre district Nawwaf Moussawi said that some parties attempt to dismantle Christian parliamentary blocs to prevent them from participating in the decision-making process. He added that Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun formed a large Christian bloc that takes part in making national decisions.

"Balance cannot be attained without a Christian bloc that is equal to all other blocs," Moussawi told LBC television on Tuesday.
He also called for reviving the culture of hostility toward "Israel", rather than simply dealing with the recently discovered "Israeli" espionage cells by tightening security measures.

Moussawi said that the Lebanese should not put any brotherly Arab country, a reference to Syria, on par with the Zionist enemy, citing "Israel's" violations and aggressions that prove "Tel Aviv is preparing for a new military campaign."

The candidate said that his party's secretary general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his speech delivered on Friday "reflected that he could no longer tolerate the unfair campaigns launched against the party" regarding the May 7 events.
