Moussawi: "Israel" plans Nasrallah assassination, maneuvers aim to face its aftermath

Hizbullah candidate for the Shia seat in the Tyre district Nawwaf Moussawi said on Friday that "Israel" is determined to assassinate the party's secretary general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, adding that it was conspiring with several other states to accomplish the mission.

Moussawi said that "the "Israeli" maneuvers, which are to take place toward the end of May and beginning of June, are an exercise drill to confront the possible aftermath of Nasrallah's assassination, because such a thing will make the situation in Lebanon explode." The candidate confirmed that the Resistance is on high alert to face the maneuvers.

He also said the opposition does not mind if the March 14 alliance rejected partnership following the upcoming parliamentary elections, "because the opposition is able to govern alone."
