Receiving Saudi Ambassador, Sheikh Qassem calls for understanding to avoid Sunni-Shia sedition

During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Assiri on Friday, Deputy Hizbullah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem called for enhancing partnership among the Lebanese regardless of the forthcoming parliamentary elections' outcome.

Qassem also called for making efforts to prevent foreign guardianship, and to foster understanding and cooperation among all parties to avoid any Sunni-Shia sedition.

He emphasized the importance of good relations with all Arab states, especially those with Saudi Arabia, which Qassem said seeks Lebanon and the region's best interest.
