Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah called on national dialogue participants to make a unanimous decision to provide the Lebanese army with military equipment.

During a political meeting on Saturday in Inata in South Lebanon, Fadlallah said that it would take time to reach an agreement over the defense strategy and that the arming of the LAF should not be a source of domestic division and disagreement.

He affirmed the Resistance supports the army in its work to unearth "Israeli" spy cells and questioned why other services, rather than the army, were provided with sophisticated equipment.
