Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said, "Hizbullah has taken everything it has from Iran, while Iran never asked for anything in return. Despite all this, we hear remarks about Iran's interference in Lebanese affairs."

In a commemoration ceremony of the 20th anniversary of the death of Imam Khumeini, the establisher of the Islamic republic of Iran, Qassem said, "We tell the US that Lebanon will not be a battle field, not to the US, nor to "Israel", and we don't want your weapons. Don't interfere in our affairs, and if you don't stop, our heroes will confront you."

"We will confront any program that could lead to the Sunni-Shia unrest that "Israel" and US might cause," he said.

He added, "We will buy weapons, and we will tell the world that we are buying weapons, and we will liberate our land with these weapons. Lebanon is defended only by the canons and the rockets and mighty hearts."

"The Resistance is ready to confront any new "Israeli" plot, and the election outcome will be in favor of a resistant Lebanon," Qassem added.
