Operations of the Islamic Resistance on Monday, March 9, 2026

The Islamic Resistance issued the following statements on Monday, March 9, 2026:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

{Permission to fight back is hereby granted to those being fought, for they have been wronged. And Allah is truly Most Capable of helping them prevail.}

Allah Almighty is Truthful

In response to the criminal “Israeli” aggression that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut’s southern suburb [Dahiyeh]:

1. After the failure of the "Israeli" landing operation two days ago in the town of Nabi Chit, the enemy attempted once again to carry out an airborne landing in the same area, but the eyes and weapons of the fighters were ready. At 00:10 in the early hours of Monday, 09/03/2026, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance detected the infiltration of about 15 helicopters belonging to the "Israeli" army coming from the Syrian direction. The hostile helicopters flew over the eastern mountain range, specifically over the airspace of the villages of Janta, Yahfoufa, Nabi Chit, Arsal, and Ras Baalbek. A number of them carried out a troop landing in the Serghaya plain, and the advancing force was observed moving toward Lebanese territory. The fighters of the Islamic Resistance confronted the helicopters and the infiltrating force with appropriate weapons, and the engagement was still ongoing at the time this statement was issued.
