The Islamic Resistance issued the following statements on Wednesday, March 11, 2026:

In response to the criminal “Israeli” aggression that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut’s southern suburb [Dahiyeh]:

1. In response to the criminal Israeli aggression that struck dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including the southern suburb of Beirut, and after monitoring a force of the Israeli army advancing toward the border town of Aitaroun at 23:50 on Sunday, 08/03/2026, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted it with artillery shells.
