Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad said "those who were waiting for the Resistance to be defeated in the 2006 July War with "Israel" are the same people that await Hizbullah's failure in the June 7 parliamentary elections."

At a political meeting in Nabatiyeh on Friday, Raad said that the elections will define the future of Lebanon's relations with other states.

He also said that the opposition aims to ensure balance if it wins the majority of parliamentary seats, calling on the March 14 alliance to participate in the political decision-making process in order to safeguard Lebanon, prevent foreign interventions and confront "Israel".
