Hizbullah announces the passing away of Preacher Yakan

Hizbullah issued the following statement:
 
"With deep grief and sorrow Hizbullah announces to the Islamic nation the passing away of one of its most prominent intellects and unity advocates, the great Islamic preacher Dr. Fathi Yakan, head of the Islamic Action Front, who passed away after a long march filled with Jihad and resistance."

The statement added: "The Islamic nation feels severe pain and serious loss for the loss of this great scholar from among its extraordinary men, who devoted his life to serve its issues, who worked hard to raise public awareness and crystallize the positions regarding the issue of confronting the Zionist enemy, the American threat and their manifest dangers."

The statement concluded: "While Hizbullah offers the deepest condolences and consolations to the Islamic Action Front and the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the world and the family of this late great leader, it sees that the loyalty to this leader can be through more adherence to his authentic Islamic path in service to the issues of resistance, unity and advancement."
