"I tell those who say they want Lebanon's decisions to stay in Lebanon that if they wanted that they should follow us," said FPM leader MP Michel Aoun, responding to comments by Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir. "The speaker of the parliament will be elected in the Lebanese parliament, while the cabinet is being formed between Cairo and Riyadh."

Calling the elections "neither free nor honest," Aoun said, while addressing supporters in Kesrouan on Thursday. "They lost their money and we won our survival, and we will make them pay double the 770 million dollars that they paid as bribes during the elections."

He told his supporters, "You have achieved victory. Lies didn't intimidate you, and your consciences were not bought by bribes. June 7 is a historical day, and as much as I am proud of you, I am ashamed of the state institutions that covered the bribes... The Lebanese state participated in the conspiracy."

"No one gave any proof of the accusations they made against us," Aoun added. "They are making all this fuss to cover a conspiracy to naturalize the Palestinians in Lebanon, especially when they didn't respond to the racist speech of the "Israeli" PM."

Aoun stressed that "neither the big or small countries will cause sectarian unrest in Lebanon," and said, "Our reform plan will be delayed and will not be implemented as soon as we planned, and we hoped that Lebanon would not lose four more years after it had already lost 20 years."
