Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt emphasized during his Thursday night meeting with Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah the necessity of meeting with Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun and hinted the meeting will be held soon, Al-Akhbar newspaper reported on Saturday.

He also said a meeting between Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri and Nasrallah is necessary and that communications between himself and Hariri and Speaker Nabih Berri are important.
Jumblatt said that his Thursday night meeting with Nasrallah went well, explaining that it included honest and in-depth discussions.

He refused to go into specifics of the meeting though, explaining, "The circumstances are very delicate, and I will never comment."

Al-Akhbar reported that Nasrallah and Jumblatt discussed the regional situation, Saudi-Syrian relation and US policies in the Middle East. The newspaper also reported that Lebanese Democratic Party leader Talal Areslan facilitated the meeting.
