Fayyad: It is difficult for March 14 to take extremist stances after Nasrallah-Jumblatt meeting
Source: Nowlebanon.com, 23-6-2009
"It has become difficult for the majority to take extremist stances following the meeting between Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt," Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad said on Tuesday.
Fayyad emphasized the necessity of listening to the majority's proposals with regard to the next cabinet, before the opposition takes any stances.
"The presence of a positive atmosphere is clear," the MP said, adding that the success of key events scheduled to take place soon, such as the formation of the government, the election of the next speaker and the appointment of the prime minister, is linked to the extent officials are willing to give concessions to overcome pending issues and to satisfy all parties.
