Hizbullah official in South Lebanon Sheikh Nabil Qaouk stressed during a memorial service in al-Sh'habiyeh town "That the people of the resistance are the first barricade in the defense of a complete Lebanese sovereignty, identity and dignity."

He said: "There were some who doubted that 'Israel' is Lebanon's enemy, they sought to disrupt Lebanon's compass in order to drag it into artificial and fake hostilities, but since Netanyahu's speech, all the Lebanese found that 'Israel' is the only enemy and entity threatening the entity, identity and Arabism of Lebanon".

He further questioned: "What remains for Lebanon to meet the 'Israeli' challenges and Netanyahu's arrogance and extremism other than adherence to the resistance strategy and consolidation of national unity to face such challenges?"

He added: "Now after Netanyahu's speech everyone knows the entire region, including Lebanon faces a road to actual dangers. This imposes leaving divisions on all Lebanese to resume and complete the course of political divergence and reconciliations among all parties." He pointed out that "Hizbullah proved it is the most eager on having calm climates and on reconciliation among the Lebanese."
