Hizbullah Political Council member Hajj Hassan Hodroj called on Arab leaders to "overcome their differences" and pay attention to "protect" Arab rights, especially in Palestine.

Hajj Hodroj spoke at the opening of the "Returning Golan Heights" Forum, which began on Saturday in the liberated province of Kenaytra (southern Syria) where he spoke on behalf of the Lebanese resistance.

In his speech Hodroj called on Arab officials to "Assume the responsibilities entrusted to them to rescue and protect the Palestinian people, Quds (Jerusalem) City and the holy Islamic and Christian sites, through transcending Arab-Arab differences and rebuilding of relations on principles and rules that serve their common interests to be able to address the threats and risks targeting them."

Hodroj pointed out the "The accomplishments of the chivalrous national resistance in Lebanon in the way of the strategic and historic victory during the ‘Israeli' aggression in July 2006, stressing that the resistance choice against occupation is a legitimate right for all people whose land was occupied by force."

Hodroj said the Golan with its every grain of soil is Syrian Arab territory and will remain so forever, its brutal occupiers however long they stay, they will disappear in the end. They will not be able to break the will of the Golan's sons nor will they extract any recognition from them to legitimize their occupation, no matter the massacres and attacks they commit against the Golan.

Hodroj praised "Syria's firm stance" and said it "Expresses originality unaffected by all the pressures and threats it has come under over the years and decades, and this is a subject of appreciation and respect by all the free, noble and loyal people of the world."
