The Deputy Secretary General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, today said the opportunity for the government's birth is very favorable, problems no longer exist in how portfolios are distributed. He indicated that the coming days may bear a solution to this matter, and said "What is constant and certain is that the mere announcement of a government is a win for all, opposition, loyalists and Prime Minister-designate alike, hence a win for Lebanon."

During his patronage of a celebration given by the Religious Islamic Studies Association, honoring successful students in formal certificate exams at the Risallat Hall, Sheikh Qassem expressed his belief that "Regional and international barriers to form a government have ended, now Syrian - Saudi Arabian agreement forms an umbrella that supports, forward-drives and provides adequate cover to the national unity government. Conditions are really favorable for its childbirth, especially given the calm climates everyone is participating is spreading- except for the rare deviation or incident."

Sheikh Qassem addressed the issue of sedition saying "It is attempting to peek through unfounded tense and machismo statements, issued by those who cannot act on such statements."
His Eminence considered "Such statements are only subversive and destabilizing to the country," calling on everyone to "Act as advocates against callers and instigators of sectarian and religious strife who use bombings and shady acts."

Deputy Secretary General of Hizbullah called on the UNIFIL to explain what happened in the foreign yacht incident which passed through Lebanon before heading to the enemy entity... He also called on the international forces to remain within the framework of their mission to protect Lebanon and implement resolution 1701, rather than let normalization with the enemy pass behind the scenes, stressing that the decision Lebanon made is clear and it is to boycott "Israel."

On the subject of the Nobel Peace Prize, Sheikh Qassem wondered about President Barack Obama receiving it, "When he has done nothing for peace, all his actual work on the ground is of war, for until now not one occupation settlements was stopped in Palestine, siege on Gaza has not been lifted, in addition to the protection America provided the Zionist enemy by preventing the Goldstone report from being issued."
