A delegation of education officials, headed by member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein Hajj Hassan, visited the Minister of Education Bahia Hariri. Discussions covered educational, university and general national issues.

After the meeting, MP Hajj Hassan said he was asked: "You have spoken about a decision requiring government formation, do you have hopes for its formation soon?"

He responded: "Information, indicators and communications point toward an ease in a number of entrenched obstacles blocking the way of forming government. Everyone knows that what happened in the way of government formation in recent days and hours between the Prime Minister-designate and a number of majority and opposition leaders, indicates a positive atmosphere. There appears to be a resolving of a large number of points and we hope communications continue in order to arrive at the desired result for all Lebanese and political powers, in the formation of a government as soon as possible.

For example we saw decisions in the Ministry of Education and many other ministries awaiting government formation and the necessary relevant decrees to be issued by the Ministers Cabinet."
