Fneish discusses the situation with the French ambassador & Sudanese Labor Minister
Hizbollah Site Staff, 21-10-2009
Labor Minister Mohammed Fneish received before noon today the new French Ambassador in Lebanon, Deni Bieton, and discussed with him the situation in Lebanon and the region.
After the meeting the French ambassador declared that "The meeting with Minister Fneish falls within protocol visits, and I wish to thank him for the warm reception. We talked about the political situation in Lebanon, the process of forming the new government-the national unity government, and we discussed the situation in southern Lebanon and the region."
Bieton refused to answer a question about the position of his country from repeated "Israeli" violations of resolution 1701.
On the other hand, Minister Fneish received the Sudanese Minister of Labor Ellison Menani Maqaya accompanied by the Sudanese ambassador in Lebanon, Idris Suleiman when both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Following the meeting, the Sudanese minister said "We exchanged views with minister Fneish on bilateral relations and how to develop them in coming stages, especially in the areas of work and workers. We exchanged ideas about the signing of a future agreement for organizing labor between the two countries. I also explained to him the possibilities for investment in Sudan. We call on the brothers, the investors in Lebanon to come to Sudan to invest there and to view the available possibilities in all areas, whether in agriculture, industry, petroleum and other domains. We have directed an invitation to the Minister Fneish to visit Sudan at the time he deems appropriate, and in the future we hope to move relations between Lebanon and Sudan forward in various areas."
