Sheikh Qassem: Unity Government inevitable, Hizbullah a national resistance & "Israel" is the enemy

Under the patronage and the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, the "Afaak Institute" held a ceremony in Hassanayn Mosque Hall in Haret Hraik honoring successful and outstanding students in the official certificate examinations.
The ceremony included a tribute to media figures, Mr. Talal Salman at their forefront, and a speech by Sheikh Qassem in which asked: "Our resistance achieved liberation in year 2000 and victory in 2006. Where would Lebanon be now without its resistance, national army and people, who banded together to fight ‘Israel' with courage and tenacity? Together they stood in the field and made sacrifices."
He stressed that this is a national rather than sectarian resistance. Because it liberated the land, not a narrow geographical strip for narrow minded calculations; it is strength for Lebanon which we'll not use lightly; it is not a component in the political game or part of the regional or global bazaar. Let yellers yell much as they wish, we will preserve and maintain a strong Lebanon, we will not accept a weak Lebanon after today. We are entrusted and we will be loyal to the blood that fell in our trust, we will preserve it with our blood and lives for Lebanon to remain strong."
His Eminence referred to the uproar arising over any passing incident in the south, while Lebanon's airspace is breached and violated time and time again. One statistical count of "Israeli" land, sea and air violations reached ten thousand and five hundred breaches between August 14, 2006 and now, in other words, since Resolution 1701 came into effect!
This means ‘Israel' is guilty ten thousand and five hundred times.
If the total number of passing incidents in the South are added up, regardless of causes and labels on them, they would barely exceed a single digit in the number of ‘Israeli' violations mentioned, thus confirming Lebanon's implementation of the resolution 1701, and ‘Israel's' ten thousand, five hundred breached of it."
His Eminence continued saying: "We have read the ‘Israel' biased Terje Roed-Larsen report written in ‘Israeli' flair, this report did not see ‘Israel's' aggression, it only saw the resistance's preparations, heroism and honor and condemned it on the basis of its commitment to its land and people, and the liberation of this land."
He added: "We are not moved by such reports, but we criticize it to highlight its defects, while we openly continue to proclaim our right to resist and protect our country. We will not shy away or hide and we will tell the whole world: Yes, with weapons we resist ‘Israel', as an occupied ‘Israel' is committing crimes against humanity, thus it is rejected, even if the Security Council and the world's major powers side with it, they will not change the reality in Lebanon, for anyone that knows the meaning of freedom and victory cannot turn back. Lebanon today with its good and proud people knows the meaning of freedom and liberation, and will persist thus by the blessings of this pure people."
On the government subject, Sheikh Qassem confirmed "The doors are open for a national unity government to be formed, which is in the best interest of the country. There is no other option, especially since formation is now on track and an agreement has been reached over the Ministers allocation formula of 15-10-5, backed by regional and international blessings."
Adding "Anyone suddenly demanding for anything else, would be helping delay the formation, since this equation will not change, and rather than formation take place one week, for example, it will be postponed several weeks or more instead."
In conclusion, His Eminence emphasized that "Israel" is the enemy, and we must face it to thwart its occupation and continuing control. Thank God Hizbullah and its Mujahidin's evident nationalism needs no decoration medals from anyone because the medal of blood and of land liberation is the highest decorations of honor the Islamic resistance has received."
