Hizbullah Region official in the Bekaa, Mohammad Yaghi, said that the resistance raised its weapons not for love of war but in defense of our country, land and sacred places. It is a legitimate right according to all monotheistic religions. It is a right for all people whose land is occupied and holy sites desecrated.

During a tribute to the media given by the Islamic Resistance Support Society in the Bekaa area, Yaghi stressed that "The media weapon fights half the battle because the military weapon alone cannot achieve all the objectives and aims. The media bears witness to the contents of the Goldstone report on the crimes the Zionist enemy committed on Gaza's land."

He added: "The resistance weapon is higher than and outside the reach of all debate topics, its discussion is impermissible for anyone to touch on, as it has limited to the National Dialogue Table, where a defense strategy is to be discussed."

Yaghi continued saying: "Lebanon is a country of partnership. I wonder why the Prime Minister-designate insists on a national unity government when we see certain parties in the same camp calling for a one-color government, because in doing so they want to drag the country to sedition, problems and crisis."
