An "Israeli" settler runs over a Palestinian man in Al Khalil [Hebron] as "Israeli" police look on. The video was captured by "Israel's" Channel 2.

Violence erupted in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday when a Palestinian man entered a petrol station.

But that was not the end of the story. According to the "Israeli" army, the Palestinian was then shot by a soldier, after which a car, apparently driven by a settler, ran over the wounded Palestinian, twice, with "Israeli" soldiers all around.

The soldiers and police officers were standing there chatting to one another as this took place. This is a perfect example of how "Israeli" settlers do whatever it is they want to do and get away with it while "Israeli" police and soldiers look on. The Palestinian is left underneath the car screaming as settlers extract the driver. Several seconds later, medics approach the injured man.

It is not the only incident where "Israeli" settlers ran over Palestinians.

On Friday 20,11,2009, An "Israeli" car struck and injured a Palestinian girl near Nablus, according to Palestinian Authority police.

The condition of the girl, nine-year-old Kefaya Najjar, was not immediately known.
On Thursday October 22, 2009, A Palestinian was injured when an Israeli settler ran him over with his car near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

Zakaria Radwan, 24 years old, was crossing the street near his home when an "Israeli" settler ran him over and fled the scene, local sources reported.

Doctors told media that Radwan suffered major wounds and described his condition as critical.

Human rights organizations have stated repeatedly that only a very small number of settler attacks against Palestinians are investigated by the "Israeli" police. These result in even fewer arrests and practically no convictions.
