Sheikh Qaouk: American anger is because Hizbullah impeded US tutelage on Lebanon

During his sponsoring of the opening of the Social Imdad Care Center for the Elderly in the Housh area, near Tyre city, Hizbullah official in South Lebanon, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk indicated that the Islamic Republic's stand of support for the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine ought to be an example for all Arab and Islamic regimes, noting that they all oppose Iran because its support of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine has exposed their desertion, and because Iran's support for the resistance protected the region from falling into the American-"Israeli" project, and paved the way towards Palestine's liberation.

Sheikh Qaouk pointed out that Barack Obama, who promised change, has changed nothing but himself and his promises, as he continues along criminal Bush's path, and with America's policy that is stained with our martyrs' blood in Qana. The US was a full partner in the decision for the aggression on Lebanon in 2006 and its extension, as clearly established by the Winograd inquiry.

His Eminence also added: "Obama promised change before the U.S. elections and ten days ago he approved further U.S. military buildup in Afghanistan, furthermore, the Congress passed a law that legally pursues satellites that broadcast al-Manar television," noting that the cause of American alarm and anger from Hizbullah these days is because this party was able to achieve a new political achievement yet again that confirms the legitimacy of the resistance movement."
