On the one-year anniversary of the "Israeli" attacks on Gaza, thousands of pro-Palestinian New Yorkers gathered in a demonstration.

As IRNA reporter last Sunday, the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish protestors and human rights activists marched against the three-week war on Gaza, and called upon the world countries to stand up for the "Israeli" crimes on Palestinians.

The New Yorker Rabbi Joseph Cohen told IRNA that now it is time to stand with Palestinians and speak out against the "Israeli" genocide, adding that the "Israeli" regime is not only the enemy of Palestinians, but also an enemy of the Jews.

On December 27, Tel Aviv attached Gaza, declaring its goal of "self-defense" and putting down the Hamas government. And in this war, more than 1,400 Palestinians, including many women and children, were killed.

The three-week attack also wounded thousands of others, 60,800 civilians were displaced, and 17,000 homes were damaged after Gazans were already under a month-long siege which was considered a humanitarian crisis.

Tel Aviv announced an alleged ceasefire, and after more than two months, the "Israeli" army's violations of human rights are turned on to an international war crime case.
During the three-week aggression, "Israel" burned up three GPS-designed UN schools, and bombed hospitals, ambulances, medical personnel, and civilian homes.

After "Israel" denied the use of white phosphorus during the Gaza war, "Israeli" soldiers eventually admitted that they used at least twenty white phosphorus bombs on the Palestinian coast.

However, the most shocking is was happen on the 4th of January, when "Israel" evacuated 110 Gazans, half of who were children, but them in one house and warned them to stay in doors. And twenty-four hours later, "Israel" bombed the same house killing more than 30 of those inside.
The Jewish South African judge, Richard Goldstone, submitted a 575-page report including states of "Israeli" crimes and human right violations during the war on Gaza.

Mustafa Barghouti, former minister of information and an independent Palestinian politician, condemned the "Israeli" refusal of allowing in supplies to reconstruct Gaza, after the Tel Aviv government banned the reconstruction. And in a statement for Al Jazeera on Monday, he said: "Today 25,000 houses in Gaza remain unrepaired because Israel is not allowing a single sack of cement or a piece of glass into Gaza".
