Nicolas: H. E. Sayyed Nasrallah´s speech promotes dialogue
Local Editor, 28-12-2009
The Change and Reform bloc MP Nabil Nicolas told New TV on Monday that Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's Sunday call on Christians to engage in "calm dialogue" falls in line with his attempts to reach an agreement between all Lebanese parties.
Nicolas said that "Nasrallah did not accuse Christians of treason," adding that Christian parties in the March 14 alliance still adopt fiery rhetoric.
He also said that certain Christian parties should not "bet on protecting themselves through their connections. We are all compelled to reach an understanding, and there should not be any foreign bets."
