MP Moussawi said: "Lebanon stands before an exceptional opportunity to assert its right to its land and water, and regain its distinguished role in the defense of the just Arab causes, especially Al Quds (Jerusalem) and all of Palestine. He also pointed to Lebanon's right to demand the Security Council to abolish UN Resolution 1559, which placed our country under the mercy of U.S. projects and Zionist ambitions.

Welcoming ongoing reconciliations between the various Lebanese political forces, Sayyed Moussawi called on the Lebanese, Muslims and Christians alike, for further participation in dialogue that leads to rapprochement and cooperation, indicating the need to better assess the political moment in our region, which requires all parties to place within their priorities the necessity of fortifying the internal arena in the face of all threats and plots.
