After touring the northern Palestinian borders on Tuesday, war minister Ehud Barak again made threats against Lebanon and its leadership, saying that Beirut will fall the responsibility for any case of fire against the "Israeli" State.

According to the "Israeli" newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Barak called on Hizbullah to refrain from attempting to "change the current situation," reiterating his belief that the party is building up military capacities with Syrian and Iranian assistance.

He also described the "Israeli" Iron Dome anti-missile system, which is designed to provide a response to the rockets fired at "Israel" by Hamas and Hizbullah, as a "remarkable technological development."

According to Barak, "Israel" is not currently capable of protecting its entire territory but will manage to offer better protection to its citizens in a few years.

As for the Lebanese daily As-Safir, it mentioned that the Lebanese Parliament which convenes today, will tackle the "Israeli" continuous violations as well as "Israeli" threats to the Lebanese government and the right to defend the land, as reiterated the Lebanese President yesterday. Sleiman had said that Lebanon maintains its right to recover its occupied land by all means.
