Iran Asks International Community to take Action against "Israel"
Local Editor 19-01-2010
Iran's foreign minister, Manouchehr Mottaki said on Tuesday that the international community must take action against the "Israeli" authorities for the war crimes they have done on last year's war on Gaza.
The foreign minister told the foreign ambassadors in Tehran the reoccurrence of such illegal aggression by Tel Aviv should be prevented.
During last year's three week aggression in Gaza, at least 1,350 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and thousands were injured. The Gaza war also turned out with billions of dollars of economic damages.
Mottaki further spoke in a statement, released by the Foreign Ministry that "Israel" has an outrageous number of crimes, yet the Gaza war was the outmost of its crimes. He also added that there should be international action taking place against "Israel" for using illegal weapons, such as the phosphorus and cluster bombs. Minister Mottaki also reminded that "Israel" had attacked UN building and bases during the Gaza war.
Iran's Foreign Minister warned that if action against "Israel" was not in order, then Tel Aviv will gain the opportunity to put the regional and global security at risk.
