The alliance of Palestinian trade unions on Monday appealed to the Egyptian government to stop building the steel wall on its borders with Gaza, affirming that the real enemy which threatens the Egyptian security is "Israel".

During a massive sit-in organized near the Egyptian-Palestinian borders, representative of the alliance Mahmoud Al Rantisi highlighted that any measure intended for the starvation and suffocation of Gaza people is participation in the blockade.

Rantisi said that Egypt sentenced the Gaza people to slow death when it decided to build the wall.

In another event, the alliance of unions also organized in Rafah area an art exhibition which included paintings and many artworks which illustrated the enormity of suffering in Gaza.

Demonstrations and sit-ins have been ‘crying out loud' in different countries, voicing support to the Palestinians and criminalizing the building of another separation wall which further "chokes the enclave" and the Egyptian complicity with the "Israeli" enemy.

1.5 million Palestinians already suffer harsh living conditions under the siege, especially after the "Israeli" aggression on Gaza which resulted in the killing of more than 1,400 Palestinians, majorly women and children, while scores of families as well became homeless after "Israel" opened the floodgates of one of its dams in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip on Monday.
