Top Hamas Commander Assassinated in Dubai

‘Israeli' agents have assassinated senior Hamas military commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai.

Hamas's media official based in Damascus announced the assassination of al-Mabhouh on the hands of ‘Israeli' agents in Dubai on January 20th, Press TV reported. The media official, al-Rishq, also explained that al-Mabhouh was targeted on his second day after landing in Dubai, adding that Hamas cannot reveal more detail at present about the circumstances of the assassination.

Hamas vows to avenge the martyred leader, warning "Israel' that the latter will pay in due time.

Al-Mabhouh, founder of Hamas's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, has been living in Syria since 1989.

A burial ceremony will be held for al-Mabhouh on Friday in Damascus.
