Local Editor 09-04-2010 The European campaign to end the siege on Gaza strictly condemned the threats received by some pro-Gaza foreign demonstrators, who plan on building a fleet convoy to Gaza, which is heading towards Gaza by next May. The threats came from anonymous sources, followed by a direct attack on one of the pro-Gaza demonstrators’ cars in Greece. In a statement published in Brussels, the European campaign to end the siege on Gaza said, “The “Israelis” are trying to intimidate the foreign demonstrators, who confirmed their will to head towards Gaza through sea, especially that their initial number has exceeded five hundred demonstrators, among which are European parliamentarians.” The campaign further stressed “Pro-Palestinian campaigners have the right to reach Gaza through regional waters, and no one has the right to stop them from going to Gaza, meeting with Palestinian civilians there, and express their suffering to the world, after all windows have been closed on Gaza.”

The campaign has been recently building up a fleet, gathered from different countries in support of Gaza, where the armada is supposed to leave to Gaza by the coming up May. All is hoping that bigger European parliamentarian participation would take place in the Gaza-heading armada.
