Lebanese Army and International Forces Joint Military Drills

Along with the French Rapid Intervention Unit of the International Forces, the Lebanese Army constructed joint military drills in Ras Nakoura, on the Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine.

The drills were of live ammunition, where two Lebanese Army 155 mm Field Guns were taking part, six cannons on French tanks, in addition to 90 French Rapid Intervention Unit soldiers from Tyr's Der Kifa headquarter, and 10 soldiers from Al Tiri quarter.

Supervisors of the military dills were: Chief of International Forces Staff Brigadier Vincent Lafontaine, along with South Litani Area's Commander, Brigadier General Khalil Mosen, Commander of sixth Brigade Brigadier General Hassan Yasine, Brigadier General Ziad Homsi, Brigadier General Ali Jalwan, General Ali Makki, in addition to Italian, Turkish, Gernman, Portuguese, Danish, Malaysian, and Indonesian Generals.

Both armies' cannons fired more than 150 artillery shells towards the sea, alongside heavy machine guns aiming at mock targets.

These joint military drills were not the first of their kind, and they will not be the last, aiming at increasing cooperation and coordination between both sides in order to exchange experiences.
