In its monthly meeting in its Headquarters in Beirut, the International Union of Parliamentarians for Palestine (IUPFP) considered in its statement that reliving Catastrophe (Nakba) Day every year is a humanitarian and national duty, in order to remind of the greatest crime ever committed by the "Israeli" Zionists against Palestinians. The statement confirmed the right of return as fixed, and Al Quds (Jerusalem) as to remain Arab and to remain the eternal capital of Palestine.
The union members considered UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon's adoption of Terje Roed Larsen's report, as bias to "Israel", with lack of accuracy and credibility.
They also referred that it will not affect the strength and determination of the resistance in Lebanon, which according to the Ministerial Statement of the Government of National Unity in Lebanon, has the legal right to defend its country, people, and army.
In another context, the IUPFP members gathering confirmed that an "Israeli" or US war on Iran will be a severe mistake which might cause in initiating a regional war. They also condemned resuming the talks between Zionists and the Palestinian Authority, considering that the only way to return the Arab right if through resistance in all its kinds.
On the other hand, the union denounced the Egyptian Judiciary sentence in the right of young honorable heroes, who deserve medals of Honor, because they stood side by side with the Palestinian people and resistance.
The Union further demanded the Egyptian government to immediately release the prisoners, in addition to stop the siege on Gaza. And with the help of International and Human Right organization, the union called upon releasing thousands of Palestinian detainees now present in Zionist prisons.
