Latest US Initiative to the Peace Negotiations: a $205 Million Iron Dome!

The Obama administration was successful in arranging for the resumption of Palestinian-"Israeli" negotiations through "proximity talks", which began last week.
But as the Palestinian Authority announced the launch of indirect talks with the "Israelis", the US and its ally were more successful in bringing on a "large-scale" of violations, whether more killing and slaughtering, destruction, deportation, settlement construction, and the latest of which is a gift from US to "Israel": a new short-range anti-missile defense system.
After breaking a deadlock of almost 18 months, Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat following the third meeting between PA President Mahmoud Abbas and US special envoy for the Middle East, George Mitchell this week, emphasized that all of the permanent agreement issues would be put on the negotiation table, but US guarantees as usual turn out to be counterfeit.
As the so-called peace process began, the US and "Israel" entered into the usual phase of "offensive alliance" and pour oil on the flames.
Not enough is it that Palestinians already suffer repercussions in the different domains of life due to the daily aggressions, the ongoing siege on the Gaza Strip, lack of basic living requirements and the Harshest war Palestine witnessed, Palestinians only have to suffer more while assuming there will be "well-intentioned" talks.
Talks resumed on May 9 and the US-"Israeli" struggle appears to be on behalf of uproar and not peace.
Haaretz reported on Friday that US President Barack Obama has approved the transfer of an additional $205 million to help "Israel" build a system designed to shoot down short-range rockets. The Pentagon informed "Israel's" War Ministry of the funds, which will be used to purchase 10 "Iron Dome" batteries. The US funds are in addition to the US' estimated gift of $3 billion in military aid.
Obama has repeatedly declared his administration's commitment to "Israel's" security describing it as unshakable and that their defense relationship is stronger than ever.
On the "Israeli" part, the Zionist army as well as settlers detain and kill more Palestinians, the latest incident of which took place when "Israeli" settlers shot dead a 14-year-old Palestinian youth in the occupied West Bank overnight near Ramallah Thursday after their car was stoned, as Palestinian security sources said.
Moreover Friday morning Haaretz reported that five Druze residents of the Golan Heights have been stuck for more than six weeks in Syria after "Israeli" authorities denied them permission to cross back into the Golan.
This comes amid Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaking at Ammunition Hill in Al Quds (Jerusalem) on settlement construction, as he stated "We will continue to build and be built in Jerusalem. We will continue to develop, plan, and create in Jerusalem," stating that the Old City's name in Hebrew is "Zion".
With bullets, bulldozers and an Iron Dome, the US and "Israel" remain to play their game in the Middle East amid international silence.
