President Suleiman: Lebanese Unity Against “Israeli” Threats Is of Great Importance

Lebanese President, Michel Suleiman, stressed on the importance of the Lebanese unity against any "Israeli" threat on Lebanon, adding that issues should be solved in the frame of national unity.
The President's remarks came as he received MP Marwan Fares, with a delegation of the Follow-up committee in a meeting for political parties and national figures and forces. The committee praised President Suleiman's efforts in maintaining Lebanon's unity and confronting corruption, considering that the security convention between Lebanon and the US does not exist, for back then, constitutional institutions hadn't been working perfectly.
President Suleiman also received Minister of Communications Sharbel Nahhas, and discussed with him issues concerning his ministry.
Michel Suleiman discussed with each of MP Elie Marouni and MP Emile Rahmeh, current situations, precisely in Baalbek-Hermel, where Rahmeh asked for closing the immigrant file there, and merging it with the Ministry of Immigrants.
Head of archbishop of Haifa and the Holy Land for the Maronite sect, Archbishop Paul Sayyah also visited Lebanese President, where they talked about the sect's situation in the occupied territories.
