Islamic University in Lebanon: 25th of May Spirit Lives and Fayyad says 25th May Victory A Coronation for All Sacrifices

As the 25th of May approaches, festivals and ceremonies of celebrating the Resistance and Liberation Day 10th Anniversary start to take place.
The Islamic University in Lebanon (IUL), Beirut-Khaldeh, under the coordination of both Hizbullah and Amal Movement students' council, organized a ceremony in revival of the 25th of May.
The ceremony was held in the auspices of Sheikh Abed Al Amir Qabalan, University President Hassan Shalabi, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member MP Ali Fayyad, and Development and Liberation Bloc member MP Ghazi Zaiter.
In his speech, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member, Ali Fayyad, said that this ceremony comes between the 17th and the 25th of May, the time which tells the story of a country, written by the people with their sacrifice where it was able, throughout this long history, to fail all attempts of attaching Lebanon to the "Israeli" enemy.
"The 25 May victory was a coronation for all sacrifices since the year 1972, in which the "Israeli" enemy occupied part of the Lebanese lands in an operation called "Al Litany". "Israel" was getting ready to divide and demolish this country, yet the Resistance kept a lookout and was able to confront and defeat it", PM Fayyad said.
On another hand, MP Zaiter said that the "Israeli" enemy is either the aggressor or the loose, and we in Lebanon have confronted the enemy and defeated it, and god willing will always win. He called upon Lebanese to stand with the resistance and supporting it, for is the "Israeli" enemy was able to reenter our front, in that case it would not win, and as long as our courageous army was and will always be the resistance's supporter.
Development and Liberation Bloc member revised Sayyed Mousa Al Sader's quotation in which he said, "We want Lebanon truly to be the rock on which "Israeli" ambitions would shatter", adding that resistance will be their eternal decision.
On behalf of his father Sheikh Abed Al Amir Qabalan, Jaafari Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan said, "In this festival for the Resistance and Liberation Day 10th anniversary, we praise the resistance and its martyrs, who were martyred while defending their country's dignity, and the pride of its people. We also call upon all Lebanese to overcome all their conflicts and stand hand in hand with the resistance, especially with "Israeli" plans to divide Lebanon's unity and coexistence on the run.
The major prominent fact about the ceremony was the "coalition" between Hizbullah and Amal Movement, which appeared as a great deal for all organizers and participants.
Israa, a student in the Islamic University in Lebanon, said in an interview with moqawama.org "25th of May gives us hope, determination, and persistence to resist the Zionist entity and defeat it victoriously. We celebrate this day as it marks a divine day and the beginning of "Israeli" defeats. Hizbullah undoubtly is stronger that before and will only get stronger, and there is no way back, but we only look forward".
Israa added, "I really liked the fact that this year the ceremony was under a coalition title of Hizbullah and Amal Movement, because it shows everyone in the world that we are united, not only between Shiites, but between all Lebanese people, giving a live example that we should unite so that we can overcome all obstacles and become a better Lebanon".
"The organization between both parties, Hizbullah and Amal, was very affective, giving the ceremony a greater and a more valuable atmosphere", says Mariam, a patriotic IUL student participating in the festival. Mariam hoped that by next year's 25th of May, the "Israeli" enemy would be eternally defeated by the resistance, looking forward to freeing Al Quds (Jerusalem).
As a treat for all patriotic students at the university, along with his band, Ali Al Attar presented them with a group of patriotic songs and slogans, with which all students interacted, holding high Lebanese, Hizbullah, and Amal movement flags.
A couple of days to go for the 25th of May to come and all are waiting for the central ceremony at Sayyed Al Shuhadaa' compound in Rwes, where Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrullah will be delivering a speech.
