Lebanon's speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri says that Lebanon today "lies in the circle of anxiety from a possible "Israeli" aggressive war by which "Israel" escapes from answering questions over its nuclear arsenal and the testing of its questions over the final resolution and the establishment of a Palestinian state."

Berri confirmed to the head of the State of Kuwait who was a guest of the Lebanese speaker for lunch that the enemy "continues to arm itself with the most sophisticated international systems plus maneuvers and getting ready and, at the same time, complains against Lebanon."

Berri considered "Israel's" actions an attempt at diverting attention from its racist actions in occupied Palestine.

Berri asserted that Lebanon "bears the responsibility of the nation which is the duty to defend and resist."

The Lebanese Premier thanked the government of Kuwait for its ongoing support after the July 2006 war aggressions.
