Photo Report: South Lebanon Demonstrates in Support of Flotilla

The city of Tyre in South Lebanon has witnessed a number of activities in support of the Gaza-bound Freedom Flotilla aid convoy which came under attack by Zionist forces in international waters last Monday.

The Palestinian refugee camps in the area witnessed a general strike yesterday called for by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas to denounce the Zionist attack on the aid convoy.

A sit-in was held in the Bass camp in Tyre during which representatives of several Palestinian factions as well as religious leaders in the area gave speeches.

And in the Burj Shemali refugee camp the union of UNERWA workers conducted a sit-in in solidarity with the activists who were attacked and abducted on the Freedom Flotilla convoy.
