Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, stressed that the historic resistance of his nations against the discriminating powers, is caused by open hostility of major world power against Iranians.

In a meeting with head of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), in addition to a number of firm makers and directors, and artists, Sayyed Khamenei referred to what the enemy takes advantage of in films and television arts, using them to influence the public opinion.

Politically speaking, Leader Sayyed Khamenei considered, "We currently live in exceptional times, and the great Iranian nation will undoubtedly get through the current difficult and testing times with flying colours". IRIB reported.

"In everything we do, including film-making, theatre and drama, we must reflect the reality of the times in which we live in, that is the open hostility of the bullying powers towards the Iranian nation, and each one of us must play a role in countering this hostility", Sayyed Ali continued.

Furthermore, Sayyed Ali Khamenei referred to the disgraceful lies of Iran's enemies, who claim to talk about democracy, human rights and assisting other nations. In this context, Iranian Leader said, "Those who manufactured chemical weapons and provided Saddam Husein with these weapons, so he could commit crimes and atrocities against the Iranian nation are today using cultural networks and the media, in an apparently cultural setting, to pursue pretty much the same goal, and this fact must not escape anyone's notice". IRIB quoted.

The Iranian Islamic Revolution Leader also spoke about those who claimed their friendship to Iran, who in fact proved their hostility towards Iran, by many anti-Iranian films and television programs productions.
