Poll: 70% of Lebanese Praise Ahmadinejad’s Visit, 80% Pro Iranian Armament of Army

A poll conducted by the Beirut Center for Research and Information, over Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Lebanon, revealed that 70% of the Lebanese people were affected in a positive way with President Ahmadinejad's performance in Lebanon.
The same poll revealed that 68% of the Lebanese believe that Ahmadinejad's visit played a role in decreasing possibilities of sectarian incitements in their country.
The poll, which was conducted between the 19th and the 21st of October, included a sample of 800 people, among which 58% of them considered that the Iranian projects and plans in Lebanon does not come in discord with the Lebanese interests, where they aim at Lebanon's enhancement.
In this context, 80% of the Lebanese approve Iran's help in arming the Lebanese army, and 86% believe that the US and French stances against Ahmadinejad's visit, represent interference in the Lebanese internal affairs.
