Syrian Ambassador Visits Franjiyeh, Stresses on Importance of Army, People, Resistance Equation

Head of Lebanese El Marada Movement, MP Suleiman Franjiyeh received Wednesday Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali, where both sides discussed latest developments concerning the Lebanese situation, including the Saudi-Syrian efforts.

After the meeting, Ambassador Abdul Karim hoped for better steps in the Lebanese internal conciliations, with further hopes for positive results especially from the Syrian-Saudi efforts.

The Syrian Ambassador stressed that these conciliations should not allow any "Israeli" assault to trigger incitement among the Lebanese.

Ali Abdul Karim expressed that the Syrian officials are optimistic regarding the Lebanese people and official's acknowledgement of the situation, adding that they should be aware and avoid conflict.

On another hand, Ali Abdul Karim Ali affirmed that Lebanon should rely on its army, people, and resistance equation, which represents protection for the Lebanese security, in addition to the Syrian-Lebanese relations.

In this context, the Syrian Ambassador referred that the good Syrian-Lebanese relations generate a firm stance in confrontation with the "Israeli" conspiracies against the region.
