Abadi: Syrian-Saudi Initiative Positive, Decision Lies in Hands of Lebanese

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi assured that the Syrian-Saudi initiative is on a positive track, stressing that the solution to the current Lebanese crisis lies in the hands of the Lebanese themselves. He further added that the Lebanese are the ones concerned of taking decisions in this context.

Abadi's statement came following his visit to former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud on Thursday, to congratulate him on the holidays. Both sides discussed the latest developments on the regional level in general, and the Lebanese in particular.
