Jumblatt to Damascus in Coming 24 Hours: My Meeting with Sayyed Nasrallah was “Excellent”

Head of the Democratic Gathering Bloc has determined his final stance on the latest developments, and informed Sayyed Nasrallah of it in their meeting yesterday in the Dahiyeh (Southern Suburb); As-Safir quoted well-informed sources as saying. 

In this context, Jumblatt told the Lebanese daily that due to the current developments, "I making consultations regarding the positive elements of the settlement, of which former PM Hariri earlier described as completed."

The paper also reported that Jumblatt "will visit Syria in the coming 24 hours to meet Syrian President Bashar Al Assad and a number of Syrian officials".
Moreover, Jumblatt told An-Nahar newspaper "I am making a wide range of consultations regarding naming a nominee for the premiership, after elements entered the Syrian-Saudi settlement and aborted it." 

Jumblatt went on to say that the articles of this initiative must be implemented despite what has happened. He also described the meeting with Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah as "excellent", denying they had discussed the naming of a nominee for the premiership.
