Sources informed of the content of the meeting that occurred between the former PM Saad Hariri and Head of Democratic Gathering Walid Jumblatt, referred that Jumblatt presented Hariri with the major points agreed upon in the framework of the Arab efforts.

Hariri on his part refused to go deep in the discussion, and referred that all he cares for is achieving a promising conciliation.

According to As-Safir newspaper sources, Hariri referred that what the opposition is aiming at does not lie in the context of conciliation, but they want him [Hariri] to surrender, saying, "They're pointing a gun at my head".

Hariri believed that one can't rely on the opposition's agreements, saying his evidence is what he called, "coup d'état against the Doha agreement", through their mass resignation from the government.
