Resigned Health Minister Mohammad Jawad Khalifeh considered that the Lebanese people haven't felt the presence of an effective government so they would miss its presence.

Khalifeh stated that what the opposition demanded before the government's collapse was to assign a ministerial council meeting, adding that the opposition did not ask for Saad Hariri to wrap up his visit to the US and come back to Lebanon for a ministerial council meeting.

In a TV interview, Khalifeh considered that the Doga agreement is not an alternative to the Taef accord, saying that the Doha agreement was a bridge through which Lebanon could form the government of national unity, and maintain its stability.

Furthermore, Resigned Health Minister referred that the indictment will not make a difference if issued in the upcoming ten days.

On another hand, Khalifeh pointed out that the majority will be affirmed through parliamentary consultations and not journalistic analysis.

Mohammad Jawad Khalifeh said that MP Walid Jumblatt's bloc is going through all its steps in coordination with Syria.

In this context, Khalifeh said this affirms the opposition constitutes many sides that will discuss the issue and come up with a final decision before taking part in the parliamentary consultations.

Regarding the security status, Minister Khalifeh reminded that Speaker Nabih Berri was concerned with this issue, stating it is a red line that should not be sabotaged.
