After meeting with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, MP Mohammad Safadi announced that he names Najib Miqati for the premiership.

This comes in light of the current parliamentary consultations taking place in the Baabda presidential palace.

In this context, Safadi said, "There is nothing named Hizbullah's candidate", confirming, "We are in a political situation in Lebanon which has resulted in a new stage, and there are politicians who agree on it, and in return there are who oppose it".

Safadi said that the consultations are to count the majority who are in favor of this change.

MP Mohammad Safadi referred that the Lebanese are in a country of freedoms and their duty lies in protecting these freedoms, in addition to any person who wants to express his or her will in a peaceful way, saying it is a constitutional right.

Safadi pointed out that this it is a golden chance for Tripoli to have Najib Miqati for PM, considering that changing the government today is part of the democratic constitutional game.
