Local Editor
After Saad Hariri became former PM, and the parliamentary consultations appeared to be settling in favor for Najib Miqati, The Future Movement followers prepared riots on Tuesday calling it the "Day of Rage".
The riots took place in several regions in the north, passing through Iqlim Al Kharoub, Saida, Central and Western Bikaa, in addition to Beirut.
The Future Movement's riots came as its followers condemned naming Najib Miqati for premiership, and instead supported caretaker PM Saad Hariri.
In their riots, Hariri's supporters raised sectarian slogans, triggering incitement against the opposition, blazing tyres in several regions, in addition to cutting roads and sabotaging cars passing by.
Gun shots were heard in many areas in Lebanon, in another clear attempt to sabotage the basics of coexistence between all the Lebanese sects.
In this context, The Future Movement MPs took turns in inciting and insulting Syria, Hizbullah, and the opposition forces, Iran, President Bashar Assad, and PM Najib Miqati.
On his part, MP Mohammad Kabbara addressed in his party's "Day of Rage", who he called traitors, telling them they will not rule Lebanon and will not lead to the collapse of the government.
Kabbara affirmed, while present in Triplo, that his party is committed to the government and its constitutions.
On his part, former MP Moustafa Alloush claimed that the dangerous policy imposed on Lebanon is an attempt to include Lebanon in the Persian regions, in reference to Iran.
The "Day of Rage" announced to take part by the Future Movement in Tripoli, comes in concurrence with armed forces in the north, where Future Movement members sabotaged citizens' cars and attacked the Al Jazeera TV's SNG satellite car.
The members also attacked several reporters and cameramen, including the OTV and NBN channels' staff.
The participants in the riots also attacked Jamal Trust Bank building, which hold an office for MP Mohammad Safadi, and later Future Movement members attacked some offices for PM Najib Miqati in Tripoli.
The sectarian and factorial slogans were recited by the Future Movement, in addition to other banners that state that Tripoli will not allow anyone to drop the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
