Jumblatt after Meeting Miqati: The Lebanese’s Will to Life Should be Respected, Democratic Game Should take Part
Local Editor
Head of National Struggle Front Bloc, MP Walid Jumblatt, after his bloc's meeting with PM designate Najib Miqati, said that they discussed how to confront upcoming challenges on Lebanon.
In this context, Jumblatt referred that the most important is not to result in "street" riots by any team, saying that would jeopardize the country's security.
MP Jumblatt stressed that the Lebanese people's will to life should be respected, adding that the democratic game should take part in Lebanon.
Head of the National Struggle Front Bloc stated it is not the first time a position is being occupied by someone different.
Regarding the US advices, Jumblatt pointed out, "We do not want these advices. We saw the US advice in Tunis and Egypt, and Lebanon is not Tunis or any other country, it has its own merits, and we affirm on dialogue even in the peak of a crisis".
