Minister Hague: Miqati’s Government Not Hizbullah’s Government
Local Editor
British Foreign Minister William Hague, at the end of his visit to Syria, referred that Britain does not look at the Lebanese government to be formed by PM designate Najib Miqati as Hizbullah's government.
In this context, Minister Hague denounced what the March 14 coalition calls this government; Hizbullah's government, at the same time urging the formation of a consensual government.
In an interview with Al Watan online website, Hague stated that Miqati is not affiliated with Hizbullah, and clear enough he will have his own points of view, adding that there will be other participants in his government.
"I don't think we should say it [the government] is for Hizbullah, because it is of a broader alliance, but as any government in the globe, it is to be judged", the British Foreign Minister pointed out.
