MP Aoun: To Form Homogeneous, Productive Government

Change and Reform Bloc MP Alan Aoun confirmed that the formation of the government is still going through the consultation phase and hasn't yet reached its final stage.

In this context, MP Aoun added there are specific commitments and several details regarding the distribution of the cabinet's portfolios.

Change and Reform Bloc MP denied the presence of any dispute between MP Michel Aoun and premier-designate Najib Miqati, saying this rumor is another attempt to sabotage the good relations.

In a newspaper interview, MP Alan Aoun referred that a homogeneous government is strictly needed at this stage of time, in order to come up with more productivity.

He also believed that PM Najib Miqati is the one to specify the time to form the new government, and speeding up the formation announcement relies on the consultations conducted by PM Miqati.
