Mourad: Egyptian Uprising to Change Scales in All Arab Countries

Head of Lebanese Union Party Abdul Rahim Mourad considered that the protests taking place in Egypt, assembled by more than ten million Egyptian citizens from all over the country to call for the departure of Husni Mubarak from his position as President.

Mourad hoped that the new regime in Egypt would restore Egypt to its natural Arab position, including installing a national system through fair and legitimate elections.

He also added that a government of national unity should be formed to include the effective forces of the country without canceling anyone.

In a statement delivered Thursday, Head of the Lebanese Union Party believed that the Egyptian uprising will change the scales in all the Arab countries, and will lead to the collapse of similar regimes.

In this context, Mourad pointed out that all Arab countries, except Syria, have either signed an agreement with the Zionist entity, or is waiting to sign one. He also added that in case a radical change did not happen; there would be at least disapproval to any relation with the enemy.
